How to proceed with the monthly communication to the AT due to lack of invoicing?

One of the new tax obligations for 2023 is related to the obligation to report the non-existence of invoices issued in a month. These taxpayers now have to communicate in the E-Fatura the inexistence of invoicing.

All companies with activities must, every month, by the 8th day of the following month (even if the automatic communication via webservice is configured), report the non-existence of invoicing in the E-Fatura.

The Tax Authority has made available the new field for this purpose in the E-Fatura.

The following are the steps to follow for submitting a non-invoicing communication.

1 – Access the e-fatura portal;

2 – Select ‘Faturas’, then ‘Sr. Emitente’;

3 – Authenticate yourself;

4 – Click on ‘Communicate’ in the new section ‘Monthly communication for lack of invoicing’.
